Despite the negative quality assessment report, in 2002 KTMB still had gone ahead in purchased of 30 locomotives at a price of nearly RM800 millions (MALAY MAIL 7th May). Well, why setup the assessment team in the first place if you’re not going to adhere to the results? Who gave the green light then? From my opinion, those involved with the ill decision are the one who should be put away behind bars for good for we don’t want the same mismanagement to be happened in the future, don’t you think so?
Travel by train will always be the most memorable experience for me (I mean long distance). For us from the boarding school, each term break we will be given a return train warrant to get to our hometown. As for me it was Taiping – Ipoh – Taiping, though it was a third class warrant still it an enjoyable experience for me.

ARAU: After keeping his silence since polling day, the Raja of Perlis yesterday spoke frankly about the recent impasse over the state leadership.
Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail said the events leading to the appointment of the Perlis menteri besar should be regarded as a lesson for future events."Now, that matter has become history. We cannot change the past. "But I hope in future, every government officer would hold closely and respect the constitution. "If not, the country and state would be in chaos," he said after witnessing the swearing-in of seven state executive council members in Istana Arau.
He was speaking off the cuff despite having a prepared text with him during the 11.30am ceremony.He said the events which led to the appointment of Datuk Dr Md Isa Sabu were out of the ordinary."In these past few days, there was an unusual event which occurred in Perlis. "It was a change in which the elected representatives and assemblymen did not give a vote of confidence for the previous menteri besar."This matter had confused the laymen. But for those who knew and understood the law, it was a simple matter." Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin said there were parties who took advantage of the supposed confusion over the matter."However, there were some who had used certain parties, including the newspapers, for their own benefit." He said the appointment of Md Isa was done according to Perlis' constitution, and was based on the constitutional monarchy principle.Md Isa was appointed on Monday. The ceremony was also witnessed by the Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, former state secretary Datuk Ismail Othman and state legal adviser Abdul Rasid Sudin.The Raja of Perlis thanked former menteri besar Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and his previous exco members for leading the state government during the past four years. He advised the new executive councillors and assemblymen to fulfil their obligations as elected representatives of the people. On development, he urged the new state leadership to set up a think-tank for education and solve the people's problems. Yesterday I went to the Curve Damansara and before I know anything, I was sitting snuggly by the comfort of the Cathay’s cineleisure Cineplex. The movie? It was 10,000 BC. Frankly speaking, it was a rotten movie only appropriately rated as a popcorn movie. Since my dear blogger ex-seratas mirumi had given her brief review on the CJ7, now please bear my ranting on 10,000 BC.
Actually the whole movie doesn’t make sense at all apart from the CGI and even the CGIs are not that something to be proud of. The storyline, the plot and the sub-plot are loosely knitted. At the end of the movie our hero traveled far and wide to save his damsel and tribesmen from the baddies and along the way many followed him in his quest to the “head of the snake”.
The baddies territory was a crossover between the pharaoh’s era and the Dalai Lama Tibetan community; I’m not sure whether they do interconnected during that period.
Anyway between the scales of 1 to 5, I’m giving it a 2 (my standard).
p.s. Was wondering how did they managed to have a glistering teeth during the period lol…

“The Raja Perlis has consented to the appointment of Bintong assemblyman Datuk Dr. Md. Isa Sabu as the new MB of Perlis replacing Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim who still claimed that he had the PM authority to continue as MB but that the Ruler has ignore it”. This piece was taken from a credible alternative media this evening.
I’m not an expert in constitution matters nor hold credential over the subject but as a loyal citizen to the Sultans and the country (the second Rukunegara); I was appalled by the bold statement. Is this the first battle cry by this ex-MB or whoever that makes the statement? Wasn’t this an act of treachery (derhaka) towards the Raja of Perlis himself? An out of favor ex-MB, an anak Perlis and a Malay for this kind of act questioning the prerogative and the wisdom of your Ruler is purely outrageous for any standard. When one of the DAP stalwarts urging Perak DAP to boycott the swearing in the new Perak MB from PAS, he got fucked left and right by BN led pros, Malaysian and even from his own party members for disregard the wish of the Sultan and Regent of Perak in appointing the MB. A day later, he retracts back his statement after the outbreak of the public anger. He made a mistake of course. As of this piece being written, I’ve yet to hear the UMNO voice over this matter, I’ve yet to hear the UMNO voice defending the decision made by the wise Raja of Perlis. I’ve yet to hear an explanation from the soon to be retired PM over the issue. The ousted MB even had the nerve to regard the new UMNO MB as an opposition. Opposition to whom may I ask? To the Ruler, to the state of Perlis, to UMNO itself or to him? Who is this loose cannon anyway? Where are the UMNO’s keris weaving panglima anyway which at one time wanted to soaked his keris with Chinese blood? Why not just soaked your keris with the blood of this SOB or just blow this guy with C4 to pieces? Wasn’t it as an MB, your priorities are toward the Ruler and state rather than you party?
In the olden days this kind of conduct will be met by a capital punishment which is death. The person who’s committing it no matter how high his stature in the society will be beheaded. Even his entire family or clan will be banished from the mukabumi. Even the earth from where his house once stood would be thrown into the sea (I don’t know how they did it) but that’s how serious it is.
As the saying goes “Do not overstayed your welcome”…

Raja Nazrin Blessed With A Prince
KUALA KLUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- The Regent of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah, and the Raja Puan Besar, Tuanku Zara Salim, were blessed with a son today. The prince was born at the Damansara Specialist Hospital at 10am, Col Datuk Abdul Rahim Mohamad Nor, private secretary to the Sultan of Perak at Istana Iskandariah, told Bernama. Mother and baby are doing fine, he said.
