...howwwzattt... dear Tun...

My comment on Tun M's article on Labu.

Dear Tun,

At times, it is a very heartbreaking moment for me as a Malaysian that certain parties are only thinking of filling up their pockets instead of maximized what we’re already has. I'm no expert in this Labu fiasco but my view is parallel with yours as well with other Malaysian.

It is illogical to build another airport when less than 10 km away when we already have a better airport facilities including extra acres to be developed with.

I totally agreed with your view and judgment especially when safety aspect is concern. Safety is paramount in the aviation businesses and activities.

For me, it's the same issue with the shelved proposal of the IJN privatization. We, the rakyat have to voice our displeasure and then only the power that be use their head productively.

Yours, truly...

...howwwzattt... it serves you and us right...

I’ve read somewhere in the NST or was it the Star this morning that somehow early counting from some 100s polling streams, that the BN candidate had in his favor of some 1000 votes against the PAS candidates. But surfing here just now, it was more of another spin from the media that somehow trying to put on a consolation note on the face of their masters.

I tend to believe with all my heart for the bloggers than the storytellers. Anyway, from my point of view, it was the bloggers which came out in full force that turned the table against those power hungry pricks.

WAY TO GO PAS… WAY TO GO PAKATAN RAKYAT…

...howwwzattt... can ka?

For each and every New Year, every diehard smokers and that includes me will have this “azam” on their mind. But will it materialized or like me year after year succumbed to the feet of the “evil one”?

For 2 days in a row, I smoke and only bought a 14s pack per day. 6 sticks less a day were a huge leap for someone of my stature who under certain circumstances could finish 20 to 50 sticks a day.

Labu LCCT Terminal To Accomodate AirAsia's Rising Capacity

SEPANG, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- KLIA East, the proposed new low cost carrier terminal at Labu in Negeri Sembilan, will sustain AirAsia's exponential growth as opposed to the LCCT at KLIA from where it is operating now.

Otherwise, if it sticks to the LCCT at Sepang, AirAsia claims it would go bust, its chief executive officer, Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes, said today.

This is because the new airport, to be ready by March 2011, would be able to increase passenger capacity by up to 50 million passengers per annum, especially with its planned seamless connectivity, he said.

In contrast, he explained that although the current expansion plans for the existing LCCT at Sepang would increase capacity to 15 million passengers this year, no further expansion was possible due to its size constraints.

"In two years' time, this airline will go bust if we do not have the facility. If we don't move by 2010, we will lose almost a million passengers and about four million passengers by 2011," he told a press conference here. (read more here)

I don't want to talk about numbers, statistics or whatever. I just want to put a simple argument, simple argument just like what is in the mind of any ordinary folks.

What is the rational of having another airport within the radius of 50km? Whereby in the same vicinity, we already have KLIA, LCCT and Subang.

Instead of spending billions of our money building new airport, the government should develop the one that we already have. Furthermore, they should materialize the accessibility to those places by provide better public transportation services from surrounding areas.

...howwwzattt... we're only a statistic...

The luxury car rules
January 02, 2009

In Kuala Lumpur, there is an unwritten pecking order to life on the roads.

For the uninitiated, let this example taken at Jalan Telawi 3 in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, be your first lesson.

Unwritten rule No 1: You are less important than that Mercedes-Benz parked on the pavement, blocking your way.

Unwritten rule No 2: Your existence does not take precedence over it under any circumstance.

Unwritten rule No 3: You are to be satisfied with what paltry slice of pavement there is left in the heat and smog of KL, and live with it.

Tough love or no love? Perhaps. But it’s Malaysia; we love our cars more then our fellow human beings.

Change spending habits to cope???

Malaysians will have to change their spending habits if they hope to come out of the global economic crisis in one piece.

Consumer Research and Resource Centre (CRRC) chief executive officer Paul Selva Raj has just one word of advice for consumers: adapt. Consumers should stop whining and accept the fact that hard times are here.

What can they do about it? Plenty, he said. (read more here)

Well, FUCK YOU my dear sir!!! Are you the one that provide any mean of necessity for me and my family? I think not. How am I supposed to change my spending habits, and ask any of the law abiding citizens on how to change their spending habits? I think, most of them will give you the middle finger.

“We can learn to live without the finer things in life for the time being, at least until the crisis blows over,” Raj said.

Well, FUCK YOU my dear sir!!! What finer things? Do you mean my 10 years old Proton Iswara, my CRT television, my fridge, my phone, my electricity and my water supply?

Even with the beat up Iswara which I’m so used to ferry around my entire household is no more relevant since the government introduced the mandatory ruling for the rear seatbelts. I have 7 children and go figure it out. Do I need to replace the trusted Iswara with the going to be launched Proton MPV???

...howwwzattt... happy anniversary...

HAPPY 17th ANNIVERSARY for MAS Trainee Aircraft Technician batch of 38. We were young and eager and full of dreams at that time. Most of us are in our early 20s and a few in their late teens. Frankly, I totally forgotten all about it until I received an sms from my colleague who were happen to be my batch mate about this significant date while dozing this afternoon.

Some still with the company and a few had left to pursue whatever dream they were chasing and I hope all were fulfilled. One had passed away involved with a jet crash during training with the air force somewhere in Kuantan (he left and join TUDM just after graduation). For Allahyarham Major Ashraff Che Husin, AL-FATIHAH…

...howwwzattt... back to school...

It has been quite a while since I put down a few thoughts here, mainly of the restriction of my commitment towards my work which does not allow me to spend more times in front of the pc, or perhaps I don’t have any issue to be brought up and nagged about.

Anyway, 2009 started a bit slow for me with my priority preparing my children for school and preparing myself for oral with the QA before I can obtain my company’s license. Other than that, I’m a year older than last year which mean I’ve to start to watch out for my diets and reduce my cigarettes intake to a safe level which I’m not sure for which level that is safe.

Fatimah during her recess hour

Today is the first day of school for my daughter Fatimah and she was in the afternoon session. I was amazed for the afternoon session alone which comprising of year 1 to year 3, there were some 1,000 odd pupils and there were more than 10 classes for each year. Wow, talk about population.

During my time, there were only 2 classes for each year. Either it was darjah 1 A and darjah 1 B or darjah 1 Merah and darjah 1 Biru.

How times change and how I miss them…
